A few Pinterest inspirations later...

And here's what I did...It was so easy! I bought one of those boards I showed you all yesterday from my Franklin Festival Finds and mounted the necklaces with tacks and the earrings with fishing line. I secured it on the wall with mounting strips and a few minutes later, I'm organized. Here's a few pointers if you want to do something similar....
Buy a picture frame, take the glass out, and place a cork board covered in your favorite fabric behind the frame to get the look you want. You don't have to feature all your jewelry, just the pieces you wear the most and you can rotate them out as you find new must have baubles.
Lay your bracelets out and find a fabulous box to include your rings in, like the one here from Pottery Barn, and you'll never have to look again for your favorite piece of jewelry.
Do you like what I did?
I just recently did the same thing with my big necklaces and it makes a world of difference!
ReplyDeleteLove the board for your necklaces! We just did that at my mom's house so she could have better storage.

Great way to organize your jewels! The only suggestion I have for you is to make sure your silver pieces are in a box v on the pin board. You'll find that it tarnishes very quickly when exposed to the air. You can also pick up a polishing cloth which is fast and easy to shine up that silver! LOVE Pinterest ... I am completely addicted. I just 'followed' you. I have a board dedicated to jewelry display because I have the same problem! too many jewels lying around :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun, informative post!!! Loving your sea foam green necklace by the way- such a statement piece :)
