While shopping last weekend in Chicago, I started to notice a lot of stores carrying the oh so popular Ikat prints. These prints have been hot for a few years, but like most trends it takes a while to show up in all the main stream stores. If you don't know what the Ikat print is, think of a place like India, and imagine all the bright colored, fun patterns usually associated with their fabrics and accessories. Those are the inspirations for the plethora of Ikat prints you'll see this season. The colors and patterns can be a little out there, but I'm so drawn to the bright, eye catching colors that I'm willing to step out of my comfort zone for this trend. I love how both our hubbies surprised us with champagne in our rooms. I am really excited to try RPM and you are so right about the Wit being the best rooftop bar
